Commencement ceremonies are scheduled Saturday for the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The undergraduate ceremony began at 9 a.m. with 1,500 candidates for bachelor's degrees. The advanced degree ceremony follows at 3 p.m. with 600 candidates. Actor, producer and Hawaii Five-O cast member Daniel Dae Kim will be the keynote speaker for the undergrad ceremony. Office of Hawaiian Affairs CEO Kamanaopono Crabbe will deliver the keynote address at the advanced degree ceremony.
