The state Department of Eduction released the results of its Educator Effectiveness System from the 2013-2014 school year Tuesday. They show that most of the state's more than 11,000 teachers are effective or highly effective educators.  Eighty-one-point-7 percent of teachers were rated effective, with 16 percent rated highly effective at their teaching jobs; 2.1 percent were rated marginal, meaning improvements are needed and 0.2 percent were rated unsatisfactory, with some teachers showing no evidence of effective teacher practice or positive student outcomes.
