Hawaii had the second highest number of shark attacks last year compared to anywhere else around the globe. According to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, the University of Florida’s annual International Shark Attack File reports the Aloha State had a record 14 shark bites with two deaths in 2013. The tiger shark was found to have caused the most attacks. Florida had the highest number at 23.
