Fire rescuers found a lost hiker and airlifted him to safety at Sacred Falls State Park Wednesday morning. Sacred Falls State Park has been closed to the public since a fatal accident in 1999. Fire Captain Terry Seelig says the man in his 20s was with three others on the trail yesterday afternoon. The three hikers managed to find their way down the trail and reported their friend missing just before 1 this morning. Fire rescuers were able to make voice contact with the missing hiker and brought him to safety just before 7:30 this morning. He was seen limping, but otherwise appeared unhurt.
