Men Charged in Criminal Property Damage Case

Two Laie men have been charged with second-degree criminal property damage, after they were allegedly seen cutting a fence on someone's property in Laie on Tuesday. Prosecutors charged 61-year-old Timote Fotu and 20-year-old Alexander Antonio Velez, Jr. Bail was set at $25,000. Second-degree criminal property damage is a class C felony which carries a maximum penalty of five years in jail and a $10,000 fine.
