Effective immediately, there won't be any tobacco products in Long's Drugs stores. The store's parent company, CVS Caremark, has moved ahead with a plan to stop selling tobacco products a month sooner than expected. CVS Caremark is also changing its name to CVS Health, reflecting its focus on customer health. In place of the cigarettes and cigars, CVS will offer nicotine gum and other products to help people kick the habit. The original plan was to stop selling tobacco products in CVS's 7,700 stores across the nation on October 1st.
