The Honolulu Board of Realtors says sales of single- family homes on Oahu during March increased 6.5 percent and the median price also increased. Meanwhile the number of condominiums that changed hands during the month fell by 5.8 percent, while the price increased 2.9 percent. There were 246 single family homes sold in March, compared to 231 during the same month last year. The median price was $675,000, up from $640,000 last March. The number of condos sold during March was 387, actually 5.9 percent down from 411 in March 2013. But, the median price -- $350,000 -- was up from $340,000 from March of last year.
