Wali is not a tropical storm any more. As expected it is weakening as it nears the Island chain. But, as it breaks up, it will be hot and humid across all islands this weekend. The storm will bring rain clouds, which will mean widespread heavy rains and the potential for flooding. Wali's outer bands will reach the Big Island Saturday and the rest of the islands by Sunday. The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for all islands beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday through 6 p.m. Monday. Forecasters say rain could fall at a rate of two inches an hour.
