BTS Release 'Black Swan' With Video

Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2020

BTS is ramping up excitement for the upcoming release of Map of the Soul: 7 with the premiere of “Black Swan.” You can hear it exclusively on Pop 99.1

None of the members of the K-pop group appear in the video, directed by YongSeok Choi, which instead highlights seven dancers from Slovenia’s MN Dance Company.

According to a release, “BTS dives deep into their inner selves as artists and faces the shadows they had once hidden. The song lends voice to their fears that one day music will no longer be able to move or touch them.

“The very moment they come face to face with the ‘Black Swan’ within themselves, however, they are stricken with a paradoxical realization that music is all they have. It is a confession of an artist who has truly learned what music means to himself.”

Map of the Soul: 7, a follow-up to last year’s Map of the Soul: Persona, drops Feb. 21.
