Mark Hoppus ‘Covers’ Blink-182 While Playing ‘The Last Of Us Part II’ Game

Like many artists in the rock world, including Brendon Urie and Mike Shinoda, blink-182's Mark Hoppus has been virtually interacting with fans by going live on Twitch to chat while playing video games.

So far, we've been entertained by Hoppus on multiple occasions where he revealed some pretty cool news — like if blink will reunite with Tom DeLonge in the future and that there is an unheard collab with pop singer Miley Cyrus.

But now, we've gotten a mini concert as well during one of his streams.

While playing the super-popular video game The Last Of Us Part II, the blink-182 bassist decided to play a cover of the band's song “Dammit” vocals and all within the game.

How you ask? There are multiple guitars you can find during gameplay and he took a minute to play fans a rendition of the popular song using the fully functional guitar within the game.

While the in-game version was obviously a little slower paced than the real thing it was pretty epic to listen to.

Plus, if you want to play the real thing on guitar you're in luck. PlayStation has teamed up with Taylor Guitars to manufacture an exact replica of the guitar but it'll cost you around $2,300. The store also has a Taylor GS Mini guitar featuring Ellie's tattoo for $700.

When he's not playing video games, Hoppus has been productive on the music side of things and has been writing new blink-128 music in quarantine.
