So many phenomenal artists hit the stage at Coachella 2019 this past weekend!
Some memorable moments? Weezer brought out TLC and Tears For Fears, performing "No Scrubs" and "Everybody Wants To Rule The World". Weezer covered those songs - among other tremendous covers like "Africa" - on their Teal Album.
Another great performance was from one of my favorite bands, The 1975.
Billie Eilish, who is only 17 years old(!) had her debut performance at Coachella this past weekend.
Despite forgetting some of her words - which by the way, at 17 and performing in front of thousands of people? I can't even blame her. I'd run off the stage crying in shame if that happened to me - she brought out special guest, rapper Vince Staples, for their song "&burn". Eilish also performed "bury a friend" while being suspended in the air on a bed! Sounds like a dream to me...literally.
This only skims the surface of the other bands and artists who performed this past weekend! I would have loved to see Dillon Francis, Janelle Monae, Anderson.Paak & The Free Nationals, Tame Impala, Gryffin, Bob Moses, Zedd, Lizzo, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Ariana Grande (who brought out *NSYNC, although I'm a Backstreet Boys girl).
Maybe one day I'll have the money to attend Coachella. But for the meantime, I'm perfectly happy attending shows at places on island such as The Republik!
