The Hawaii Department of Health reports 28 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed. All cases were from the island of Oahu.

The Department of Health says the relatively low number, compared to the previous few days in the state, is in part due to labs being closed for testing on Sunday because of Hurricane Douglas.

Health officials are also asking anyone who went to Brix and Bones on Hopaka Street and Arena 808 on Keeaumoku Street after the 16th to contact their doctors as the bars are believed to be linked to coronavirus clusters.

Lt. Governor Josh Green stated this morning that new restrictions on businesses may be implemented if case counts are not brought under better control.
