Kualoa Ranch, Filming Location For "Jurassic Park", Remains Closed

As Hurricane Lane becomes Tropical Storm Lane, many parks remain uncertain about opening as risk of flooding and landslides is still an issue. Residents are still being warned that high winds, flash floods and mudslides are still a factor even if Lane has been turned down to a Tropical Storm.

Many tourist locations have closed, even the famous filming location Kualoa Ranch on Oahu, Hawaii best known for it's appearance in "Jurassic Park." Plus according to TMZ, TV shows, like "Hawaii Five-0" and "Magnum P.I.," have also shut down production for safety as the storm still rages on.

According to Kualoa.com the ranch is planning to open again on Sunday however this could change pending the storm path.

Due to the uncertainty and dangerous situation facing the islands from Hurricane Lane, Kualoa has decided to close down all tours and facilities on Saturday, August 25, 2018. We expect our tour operation to be open for business on Sunday morning, as weather conditions improve.
