Artist Wore Bikini Made Of Masks Outside Trader Joe's To Protest Lockdown

This performance artist was wearing a mask.... just not as a face covering.

The artist, DaVida Sal was not covering her mouth, but wore a bikini made out of blue surgical masks near a Trader Joe's in Los Angeles.

Sal's reasoning was to protest lockdown restrictions. In a Facebook post, she shared and explained why she went about doing this receiving a lot of negative feedback. One person commented saying: "People where I live are dying, Karen. Protecting the most vulnerable people in our population is the right thing to do. Wearing a mask is not difficult."
