It's been an eventful week in music. Not only is our incredibly massive #iHeartFestival is in the history books once again, but this week also brought some amazing new and strange sounds to our music-loving ears...

A haunting, previously unreleased track surfaced from Chris Cornell, "When Bad Does Good," ahead of a box-set due out in November that will celebrate his musical legacy:
Now it gets weird. YouTuber THE TABLE got creative with "My Heart Will Go On In The End," a trippy mash-up of Linkin Park's "In The End" set to the music of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On." And it works!! You gotta hear and see this -- it may play tricks with your mind and ears at first, but then you may find yourself randomly humming LP lyrics to the tune of the "Titanic" theme:
And finally... put a little Captain Kirk in your Christmas this year. William Shatner returns with a new album in October, "Shatner Claus," showcasing his unique and strange takes on Holiday music with an A-List of guest stars. Check out this teaser of "Jingle Bells" featuring Henry Rollins. Don't say we didn't warn you.
